Technical Stage Manager needed

Posted on by 0 comment

After it’s premiere tour earlier this year, Leaper will now be performed at this year’s Latitude Festival presented by Greenpeace.

We’re very excited and are looking for a Technical Stage Manager to come with us.

The show already exists so we are only having a short rehearsal process to introduce a new cast member and then going to Latitude. We are looking for someone to come with the show and look after all things technical.

Have a look through the rest of website to find out more about the show.

Responsibilities will include

  • Overseeing rehearsals
  • Agreeing all technical requirements and alterations with Greenpeace prior to  rehearsals
  • Working with Greenpeace to source additional technical equipment
  • Working with Greenpeace to arrange and oversee gets in, get outs and turn arounds
  • Operate and adapt existing lighting plans to a festival setting
  • Operating sound
  • Maintaining costume and props
  • Managing cast call times
  • Ensuring health and safety protocols are adhered to at all times.

The dates you would be needed would be 6th, 7th and 12th July (rehearsals at Greenpeace in Canonbury) then 13th – 17th (tech and performances at Latitude).

Experience of working on festival shows would be useful as well as experience of using Multiplay and Qlab.

The project would be paid plus travel to and from Latitude, food and your festival ticket. Unfortunately, we cannot provide travel or subs for the rehearsals in London.
